Every winter we make the most of the quiet period to completely renovate one of our rooms in the hope that we can offer the best in holiday accommodation with modern, comfortable rooms with the in-room facilities you would expect of a 5* hotel.
This year, room 8 underwent the Marina Court, Weymouth treatment.
We began by removing the stud wall that enclosed the tiny, dated en-suite shower room and utilised an unused room next to it to create a larger en-suite and providing more space in the bedroom.
The additional space in the bedroom enabled us to upgrade the bed from a standard 4ft 6inch double bed to a whopping 6ft x 6ft 6inch super king bed.
The in-room facilities include a mini fridge, Krups Nespresso coffee machine, hospitality tray, bedside USB charging ports, ironing facilities, dressing table with illuminated mirror and more.
The room has a seamless blend of modern and traditional with built in shutters and an old style radiator.
